Easter Trip – Aire and Calder

 Yippeee! Spring is upon us.  The new stove has been brilliant over the winter; however we are both looking forward to some cruising in sunshine and hopefully a lot less rain than the previous two summers…

 Over the Easter period, we have enjoyed a couple of local cruises.  The weather could not have been better, we have seen our first tiny fluffy ducklings of 2010, they were so cute and we enjoyed some nice meals on board including a yummy tapas banquet and of course a glass of wine or two!

 Helen needs to go back to the gym, found it a bit hard at Fall Ings Lock, it is always difficult, but she either needs to eat more weetabix or to work out a bit more and build up those muscles!  Been spoilt with the electric locks on the Aire and Calder, makes you lazy, it was good to get the old windlass out again…
